A summer camp they will never forget

There is nothing as satisfying as making something with your hands. We have eight weeks of sewing camps throughout June and July for campers ranging from 2nd to 12th grade. Choose between half day and full day sessions. Your camper will learn, grow, make new friends and have FUN!

Our commitment for summer camps is to provide a fun and supportive environment for your children to learn or enhance their sewing skills. Our sewing camps are designed for kids ages 7 and up of any skill level - even kids who have never used a sewing machine! 

Sewing is a practical life skill kids can carry with them all their lives!

In a world where so much of our attention is focused on screens, sewing allows children to take a break and focus on the task at hand. As their skills progress, their confidence will grow and they will find satisfaction in completing a project on their own!

FAQ

My child has never sewn before, will they be able to sew in camp?

Absolutely! We will cover all the basics on the first day of camp.

My child has been taking Made Stitch Company classes all year. Will they be bored at camp?

We have so many amazing projects for young stitchers! We will match a project to your child's skill level. This can be an opportunity to do some fun things that aren't covered in our normal curriculum.

When can I drop off and pick up my child?

June half-day camps:

  • Drop off: 8:00-8:30 am
  • Pick up: 11:30-12:00 pm

July full-day camps:

  • Drop off: 8:00-9:00 am
  • Pick up: 4:00-5:00 pm
What is included in the cost of the camp?

The registration fee include all fabric and other materials needed to complete the projects, use of equipment and tools, as well as sufficient supervision to complete the awesome projects designed in-house by our talented staff! 

What should my child bring to camp?

June half-day camps:

  • one snack
  • water bottle

July full-day camps:

  • two snacks
  • bag lunch
  • water bottle
I signed up for camp but now I have a conflict. How will you handle refunds?

1.  If and only if we are notified at least 7 days prior to the start of camp that your child cannot attend AND we can fill your child's spot, you may receive a refund.


2.  If we are notified at least 7 days prior to the start of camp that your child cannot attend, but we are unable to fill your child's spot, you may receive a credit for a future class/camp or you may switch your child to a different week.


3.  If we are notified less than 7 days prior to the start of camp that your child cannot attend, your child may switch to another week or you forfeit the registration cost.  No refunds or credits will be issued.
