REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 1ST!
A summer camp they will never forget
There is nothing as satisfying as making something with your hands. We have eight weeks of sewing camps throughout June and July for students entering 2nd grade and up. Your camper will learn, grow, make new friends and have FUN!
Our commitment for summer camps is to provide a fun and supportive environment for your children to learn or enhance their sewing skills. Our sewing camps are designed for kids ages 7 and up of any skill level!
Sewing is a practical life skill kids can carry with them all their lives!
In a world where so much of our attention is focused on screens, sewing allows children to take a break and focus on the task at hand. As their skills progress, their confidence will grow and they will find satisfaction in completing a project on their own!
Kids love....
KIDS' CHOICE SUMMER CAMPS
Our sewing camps are designed for kids ages 7 to 13 of any skill level. Unlike our school-year program, where kids follow a prescribed curriculum, our summer camps are based on KIDS’ CHOICE - meaning they get to pick the projects they want to make. With a large selection of projects to choose from, kids can come for multiple weeks without making the same project twice.
What will YOUR CHILD SEW?
Every camper’s skill level will be assessed based on the information you give us during registration and any history they may have in our educational program. Then, kids will choose from a selection of projects appropriate for their skill level. Every skill level has projects in these categories: quilting, bag making, pillows, stuffies, and applique, - so every kid can find projects that fit their personal taste.

Requirements
- If your child has not taken classes at Made Stitch Company, they must first complete our Beginner Workshop before coming to camp. This is a 2-hour class in which students learn the basics of the sewing machine. We have many workshops offered before camp to fit everyone in! Register for a Beginner Workshop here.
- All project materials (fabric, thread, etc.) are included in the cost of camp. However students must provide their own tools. Purchase a tool kit here.
FAQ
My child has never sewn before, will they be able to sew in camp?
We require every student to take the Beginner Sewing Workshop prior to beginning camp. This sets kids up for success at camp so they can focus on the fabulous projects they will make.
Why does my child have to take the Beginner Sewing Workshop prior to camp? Can't they learn that material during camp?
The Beginner Sewing Workshop teaches children how to operate the sewing machine, including how to thread the machine and wind a bobbin. During camp we jump right into sewing projects! Since many campers will already have sewing experience, this ensures that everyone can get started at the same time.
My child has been taking Made Stitch Company classes all year. Will they be bored at camp?
We have all new projects for our 2025 Summer Camp! This can be an opportunity to do some fun things that aren't covered in our normal curriculum.
When can I drop off and pick up my child?
- Drop off: 8:30-9:00 am
- Pick up: 11:30-12:00 pm
What is included in the cost of the camp?
The registration fee include all fabric and other materials needed to complete the projects, use of equipment and tools, as well as sufficient supervision to complete the awesome projects designed in-house by our talented staff!
What should my child bring to camp?
- one snack
- water bottle
I signed up for camp but now I have a conflict. How will you handle refunds?
If your child will be unable to attend camp, you may receive a credit for a future camp or class ONLY if we are notified in writing via email at least 7 days prior to the first day of camp. By registering for the camp, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy. You may also switch to any other camp that has availability.
