2.25 inch Oak Seam Stick
Description
A seam stick is an excellent tool for your pressing station, especially if you sew jeans or pants!
Pressing on a long, straight seam on a seam stick prevents imprints from your seam allowance from showing through to the outside of your garment. It is also great for techniques where you are pressing seam allowances to one side, such as serged seams, welt pockets, bound buttonholes, and QUILTS!
One side of the seam stick is curved, and one side is flat, which provides a stable base when pressing. The flat side can also be used as a clapper to set creases and pleats.
This product is made by by GOPDX, a small woodworking business, to the specifications of garment sewing professionals. It is made of high-grade oakwood and will last several lifetimes.
