I always keep four types of needles in my needle case for garment sewing: Sharps, Embroidery/Crewel, Milliners/Straw, and Tapestry. Any type of hand sewing that I need to do to finish a garment can be completed with those needles. Embroidery needles are used for burying thread tails and adding decorative stitching to your garment.
