Heavy Embroidery Needles Size 14 by John James
Description
I always keep four types of needles in my needle case for garment sewing: Sharps, Embroidery/Crewel, Milliners/Straw, and Tapestry. Any type of hand sewing that I need to do to finish a garment can be completed with those needles. Tapestry needles, or large eye embroidery needles as they are called here, are perfect for weaving in serger thread chains to keep your finishing tidy. Knitters use these needles to weave in yarn tails.
John James Heavy Embroidery Needles Size Assorted 14. Heavy Embroidery needles are not actually heavy to use. However, they are the largest needle of the Embroidery sewing needle family. Typically they are used when working with twisted yarn in the art of crewel embroidery, for example yarn embroidery on a chunky sweater. This pack contains 2 heavy embroidery needles, both a size 14, one pointed and one with a round blunt point. Usage will depend on the openness of the fabric. 2 needles per package.
