1/2 inch Scotch Magic Tape is essential for tissue-fitting using the Palmer/Pletsch method.
To use Magic Tape on your sewing patterns, tape on the front of the pattern and press quickly from the back side. Magic Tape will not shrink when heat is applied like other cellophane tapes. Be careful not to touch the iron directly with the tape.
The half-inch width is really important for tissue fitting. The 3/4 inch Magic Tape is easier to find but too wide for the task.
