This is a great book for kids and teens who want to sew their own clothes! We used this book for our Summer Fashion Sewing Camp, and it was a hit.
What I love about this book:
- First half of the book covers the basics of sewing in a very accessible way
- The emphasis on is on fashion sewing instead of crafts and home decor
- Excellent photos that clearly demonstrate techniques
- Includes paper patterns so that kiddos can sew their designs over and over
- Emphasis on how to embellish or alter the included patterns so that kids can flex those design muscles
If you want a good book to use to sew with kiddos, I highly recommend this one.
