Teen Fashion Night (Teens)
$225.00
Description
In this program, students will work through a specific sequence of projects designed by us to develop their sewing ability. Students will explore the whole world of sewing as they learn garment making, bag making, patchwork, embroidery, applique, and more! They'll work with many different types of fabric and learn how to choose appropriate fabric for a project. As students progress through the program, they will build upon their skills by tackling more difficult and more detailed projects.
The Teen Fashion Night Program is comprised of 4 Levels, each Level taking one semester to complete. When your teen finishes all four levels, they will be ready to sew any commercial pattern!
Can't come year round? No problem! Students are able to leave and re-enter the program at any time, they'll just pick up where they left off!
Required Materials: The sewing pattern, tools and equipment are supplied by the studio. Students will need to bring or purchase fabric. We have a selection of appropriate fabrics available in the studio for purchase.
Fabric-Quilting cotton is perfect for these patterns. If your child is new to teen fashion night, they will make the Level 1 Apron as their first project. See below for the needed yardage.
