I love working with this cotton Japanese basting thread. It is easy to use and easy to remove, and the pretty colors make it highly visible. The thread has a little bit of texture, which means it won't slip out of your fabric before you are ready.
If you are using the Palmer Pletsch Tissue-Fitting Method, you can use this thread to transfer all of your markings to your fabric for pin fitting. Since the thread is easy to remove, adjustments are a breeze.
